International Success from Our Department at ICRERA 2025
Our department faculty members and student, Res. See. Fulya Yenilmez, Res. See. Nihal Zuhal Kayalı and Prof. Dr. Murat BEKEN and our student Öykü Süzgün attended the ICRERA 2025 Conference with three papers. Our student Öykü Süzgün's work was chosen as the second best article among 64 countries and 517 articles.
Great Success in Table Tennis: Istanbul Championship
Our research assistant Nihal Zuhal Kayalı achieved outstanding success by becoming the Istanbul champion in table tennis at the Public Sports Games. As the team captain, she and her team representing the Beykoz District Governorate qualified for the regional finals in Sakarya.
TAU–OVGU Double Degree Program Winter Term 2025/26: 9 TAU Scholars From Our Department in Magdeburg
Otto von Guericke University has accepted nine TAU students from our department for two semesters within the double degree program in the 2025/26 winter term. The students have started their studies and project work in Magdeburg.
Best Paper Award for TAU Professor Lackes and his PhD Student Mathis Wilz
Prof. Dr. Richard Lackes from Turkish-German University and his PhD student Mathis Wilz received the “Best Paper Award” at the BIR2025 conference in Riga.
Students of the INF804 Project Development Methodology - Agile & Scrum Course Visited the Siemens Kartal Campus.
As part of the INF804 course, our instructor, Mr. Nihat Ük, Siemens Turkey's Product and Solution Development Team Leader, gave our students a tour of the Siemens Kartal Campus. This trip allowed the students to meet with experts in their fields.

Mercedes-TGU cooperation
A collaboration project was initiated between TGU Computer Engineering and Mercedes Benz. Within the scope of this collaboration, a software project course was designed and implemented in the 2019-2020 Spring Semester in collaboration with Mercedes Benz.
